Psych Ward wrapped last Wednesday night at 10.30pm, by Friday morning we had finished the offline edit - not exactly a lot of time for tinkering! The mix went smoothly on Friday (cheers to Killian @ Avatarpost.ie) and Eugene McCrystal is grading the picture on Monday morning for delivery to RTE on Monday evening. Two trailers are up for viewing on the Psych Ward page and we hope to have a dedicated website at www.psychward.ie up by next Friday (March 13th)

RTE STORYLAND CONTENDER - Pubworld

From pubworld.org:-

A young man, Darryl, is wrenched, against his will, from our reality and deposited in some other existence – an existence that on the surface appears similar – yetwhich openly defies the long established norms of physics and logic.

He has been sent to a place called PubWorld.

PubWorld appears to be a small, traditional Irish pub – unremarkable in every way except that solid walls ripple like liquid; human and alien creatures appear from nothingness - and a mysterious, silver creature presides over proceedings like some kind of cosmic bartender.

PubWorld – if shown in all its proposed six parts – will track our characters' progress right from the terrifying first moments of arrival. They shall struggle with and question every aspect of PubWorld – as will the audience – until we all arrive together at the final revelation. A revelation that will change our world forever.

Closing time is near...
